AWARDS
The end of year school awards were presented in Our Lady’s and congratulations to all the worthy recipients.
The CEIST award went to Nathan Connor. Student of the Year was awarded to Nadine Neary who was presented with the Gerard McNally Cup and the TY Student of the Year was Nana Yaa Ampong.
The Amber Flag Committee were presented with their flag for the school. The Amber Flag is awarded to schools who promote positive mental health. Our school met three goals to achieve this flag. The group did a marathon to fundraise for Pieta House, established an Amber Flag notice board, invited guest speakers to speak to students about mental health and also organised activities for World Mental Health Awareness Day. The Amber Flag Committee were TY students Alannah Concannon, Katelyn Cosgrove, Aine Dixon, John Flannery, Lachlan Gallagher, Molly O’Connor, Ailish Sweeney & Ben Wilson.
