YOUTH SPORTS LEADERSHIP AWARD

The Youth Sports Leadership Award in association with Mayo Sports Partnership was completed on 2nd March by all TYs.

The level 1 Award in Sports Leadership is accredited by Sport Ireland partners – Sports Leader UK. For students wishing to pursue a career in sports, management or leadership this is their opportunity to get ahead in terms of their own career pathway.

The course is designed to develop generic leadership skills that can be applied to a variety of sports and/or recreational situations as well as contributing to the personal development of the learner.

The course was expertly delivered by tutor Michael Wallace. We would like to express our gratitude to Mick and Mayo Sports Partnership for providing this opportunity for our students.
