SOCCER SUCCESS!!

Our senior soccer team made it 2 wins in a row after beating Elphin today 3-2, and beating Lacken 3-1 last week. Josh Carey scored 2 wonder free kicks against Lacken and Rory Ginty slotted home the third. Keeper Leo Reuland was in inspired form with several point blank saves to ensure a 3-1 win. Leo was on form again today when he turned provider for the first goal vs Elphin when his long ball was pounced on by Gavin McAndrew who finished beautifully to the net. Luke Mc Manamon scored the second with Josh Carey converting the third from the penalty spot, after Conor Conmey was upended in the box. Elphin launched a comeback, but Our Lady’s held out for another valuable 3 points. Well done to all involved!
