BFire Safe School's Programme
Last week in Our Lady's Secondary School the TY's were delighted to be one of the first schools in Mayo to launch the "BFire Safe Schools" programme which was designed by local Education consultant MsCaroline McHale. It is a teacher- led resource for post primary students which includes safety in the home, school and environment. A number of teachers have already completed the different units and personnel from Mayo County Council (Martin and Aileen) completed some theory based modules. Students then completed practical drills outside with local Fire Services Personnel Fabian Shevlin and Michael Gruddy.
